Welcome to Listie

These Terms govern your use of Listie. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Listie, you agree to:

• These Terms of Service
• Our Privacy Policy
• Apple's Terms of Service

Age Requirement: You must be 4 years or older to use Listie.

Capacity: You confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. The Listie Service

What Listie Does

Listie helps you:

• Organize your meals in a personal list
• Generate weekly meal plans from your dishes
• Create automatic grocery lists
• Manage meal preferences (lunch, dinner, timing)

What Listie Does NOT Do

Listie does not:

• Suggest recipes (you add your own meals)
• Provide nutritional advice
• Calculate calories
• Deliver groceries
• Guarantee weight loss or health outcomes

Disclaimer: Listie is a meal organization tool, not a medical, nutritional, or health service.

3. Free Trial & Subscription

Free Trial: 21 Days + 3 Meal Plan Generations

What you get for free:

• 21-day full access trial, starting automatically on first install
• Create up to 3 weekly meal plans during your trial
• Full access to all features
• No credit card required
• No automatic billing

The trial ends when the first of these conditions is met:

• 21 days have passed since installation, OR
• 3 weekly meal plans have been confirmed

After the trial:

• You must subscribe to Listie+ to continue creating new meal plans
• Your existing dishes and meal plans remain saved on your device

Fair Use & Anti-Abuse

To ensure fair access to the free trial for all users, Listie uses an anonymous device identifier stored on secure EU servers (Supabase). This prevents unlimited free usage through repeated app reinstallation.

What this means:

• Your free trial (21 days + 3 meal plans) is tied to your device
• Uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not reset the free trial
• This data is completely anonymous and not linked to your personal identity

Listie+ Subscription

Price: 4.99€/month (or equivalent in your currency)

What you get:

• Unlimited weekly meal plan generations
• Unlimited grocery lists
• All features unlocked

Billing:

• Charged monthly via Apple In-App Purchase
• Auto-renews every month unless canceled
• Price may vary by region (Apple sets local prices)

Payment:

• Processed by Apple (not Listie)
• Uses your Apple ID payment method
• See Apple's payment terms for details

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel anytime:

1. iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
2. Select Listie
3. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

After cancellation:

• Access continues until end of current billing period
• No partial refunds for unused time
• You can resubscribe anytime

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled by Apple, not Listie.

To request a refund:

1. Go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Find Listie subscription
4. Request refund

Apple's refund policy applies:

• Typically: No refunds for subscriptions
• Exceptions: Technical issues, accidental purchase
• Apple decides (we have no control)

We cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Your Responsibilities

Account Security

• Keep your Apple ID secure
• Don't share your account
• You're responsible for all activity under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use Listie for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Not abuse or overload our systems
• Not reverse-engineer the app
• Not use automated tools (bots, scripts)
• Not attempt to bypass the free trial system

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws
• Infringe intellectual property
• Upload malicious content
• Resell or redistribute Listie

Your Content (Meal Data)

You own your data:

• Your meal names, ingredients, recipes
• Your meal plans and grocery lists
• Your preferences and settings

We do NOT:

• Claim ownership of your meals
• Share your meals with others
• Use your meals for marketing

6. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

Listie owns:

• The Listie app (code, design, features)
• The Listie name and logo
• All app content (text, graphics, UI)

You may NOT:

• Copy or reproduce Listie
• Create derivative works
• Use our name/logo without permission
• Claim you created Listie

7. Disclaimers & Limitations

No Warranties

Listie is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE".

We do NOT guarantee:

• Uninterrupted service (we may have downtime)
• Error-free operation (bugs happen)
• Specific results (meal satisfaction is subjective)
• Compatibility with all devices (iOS 13+ required)

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are NOT liable for:

• Lost data (back up your meal lists!)
• Lost profits or business
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Damages exceeding €4.99/month

We ARE responsible for:

• Gross negligence
• Intentional misconduct
• Anything that cannot be excluded by law

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights (EU consumer protection, etc.)

8. Changes to Service

We May Change Listie

We reserve the right to:

• Add or remove features
• Change the app design
• Modify pricing (with notice)
• Discontinue Listie (with notice)

Notice:

• Major changes: 30 days notice
• Price changes: Notice before next billing cycle

9. Termination

We May Terminate Your Access If:

• You violate these Terms
• You abuse the service
• Required by law

You May Terminate Anytime

• Cancel subscription (iOS Settings)
• Delete the app

10. Governing Law & Disputes

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by:

• European Union law (if you're in EU)
• French law (if you're in France)
• Your local consumer protection laws (where stronger)

Dispute Resolution

For EU Consumers:

12. Apple Requirements

Apple App Store Terms

You acknowledge:

• These Terms are between you and Listie (not Apple)
• Apple has no obligation to provide support
• Apple is not responsible for the app or content

Apple's Role:

• Provides App Store (distribution platform)
• Processes payments (In-App Purchases)
• Handles refunds (per Apple policy)

In-App Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple:

• Subject to Apple's payment terms
• Managed in iOS Settings → Subscriptions
• Refunds handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com)
